PRINCES’ ISLANDS FERRY SERVICES
Within the scope of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Department of Environmental Protection and Control – Vehicle Transportation Tender, we operate regular services to Büyükada, Sedef Island, Burgazada, Heybeliada, Kınalıada, and Democracy and Freedom Island using our car ferry EGE GAZ-1, which is capable of berthing at all islands.
On these routes, all operations are carried out meticulously under the supervision and inspection of the municipality. Services include the transportation of excavation materials and concrete used in construction activities to meet the islands’ infrastructure and daily needs; logistics related to waste and refuse management; and the transfer of ambulances and medical vehicles required to ensure uninterrupted healthcare services. In this way, we contribute to the orderly functioning of the islands while fully fulfilling our responsibility to protect environmental and public health.
In the event of a fire on one of the islands, our standby ferry responds without delay, rapidly reaching the island and facilitating the immediate disembarkation of firefighting vehicles.
